Jens Wehrmann comes from a family which has been active in horse breeding and taken part in the sport for decades.
Born in 1966, he has been riding since he was 7 - first on ponies and then on horses.
When he was young he reached and was successful in dressage up to M-level and then he moved on to show-jumping.
He learned his equestrial skills from well-known trainers like Johannes Lieberg ( Dressage ),
Arno Neessen ( NL ) and Rudy Leone ( USA ) for show-jumping.
In 1994 and 1996 he was rider of the INTERNATIONAL SPORTHORSE REGISTRY (ISR)- team at the 100 - Day Stallion Tests in Lexington / Kentucky and Rancho Murieta / California.
Today he devotes himself to the training and promotion of young and talented horses and riders. He also is a well occupied horse-show announcer.
